Anita Barone

Anita Barone, a stage actress who has a broad range of talents, who's mostly associated with sitcoms in TV she was given the perfect opportunity to shine as Jeff Foxworthy's wife on ABC's "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" that aired for a single season from 1995 to 1996. Barone appeared on the stage in her first performance at 5 years old in Detroit following the move of her family to the city from St Louis. By age 23 she was in more than 50 productions mostly at university productions as well as regional theatres. The role she played was Juliet as the twisted young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the protagonist in "Monday After the Miracle," as well as Juliet reprised on screen in "Romeo as well as Juliet." Her debut on screen was in the minor part of "The Rozary Murders" and a brief appearance in "Ricochet", and her role as the main character in an indie romantic comedy "Just Friends" which premiered in 1996. Barone was commissioned by NBC in 1990-1991 as a shareholder for "Carol & Company" which was the failed project by Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety program. Barone also starred in the"Wounded Heart" USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She eventually came back to her regular sitcom routine, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio". Anita Anita Anita
